Day 16




Today is Sept.1st, my first day of official retirement.  Actually, it doesn't feel any different than all those days I didn't work.  I am going to have to work at getting my steps in now.  Also had a talk with my Dr. today.  I had an ultrasound on my legs last week and he gave me the results.  It is not good because there are vein problems besides the DVT and that is why my legs swell.  I am not sure what the next step will be because at one point they were talking about surgery on the leg to laser a vein closed.  We will see.

Total Calories for today figure out to be about 2320.  Calories are actually down two days in a row. I want the calories down to about 1800 or so.  I know what to do, I just need to get on the stick and do it.  I know I keep saying that and hopefully it going to sink in this hard head very soon. And time to confess my steps were only about 8,300 today.    The water was no problem because I am always drinking water.
